Upon viewing Ladybug by =c3ph31d, one is left with the impression that this cannot be a 3D render but, instead, it's a macroesque piece of photography. The lighting, the textures and the modelling all fall together so nicely in this piece. 'Zoom in' and be impressed.

Description
This took a bit of time to put together. I spent most of the time modeling the ladybug as well as texturing the scene.
edit: i moved the category. though it's wallpaper sized, i felt it didn't really work as a wallpaper and is more appropriate for the 3d category.
